There seems to be a lot of confusion about just where Alaska is located. Many people believe that it is floating near Hawaii or Oregon because of what they have seen on maps. This is not the case. Alaska is located west of Canada, it borders the Canadian Provinces of British Columbia and Yukon Territory. And Alaska is most definitely not an island.
